How We4NRI handles educational record
This group covers educational records from Indian schools and universities: official transcripts, medium of instruction certificates, degree certificates, provisional certificates and marksheets, often needed for jobs, further study and immigration abroad. These can be hard to arrange from another country.
We4NRI is a private facilitator in Chennai. We request records on behalf of former students now in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia and the UAE, and follow up with the institution in person. Universities set their own rules, fees and timelines, and we cannot control them.
Who this is for
- Graduates abroad who need official transcripts sent to a university or evaluator.
- Applicants asked for a medium of instruction certificate for admissions or immigration.
- Former students who lost a degree certificate or marksheet and need a copy.
- Professionals whose employer or embassy wants education records verified.
Questions
Educational Record FAQ
Most universities accept a request from the former student with identity proof and a fee, and some allow an authorised representative to collect or dispatch it. Many have their own forms. Check your university rules, as the process and timeline vary widely.
It is a letter from your school or university stating that your course was taught in English. Some universities abroad and immigration bodies ask for it instead of a language test. Each institution has its own format, so confirm what the recipient wants.
Most universities issue duplicates after an application, an affidavit or police report in some cases, and a fee. The rules depend on the institution and the year of passing. Older records can take longer to trace, so allow extra time.
Often they do. Many employers, universities and embassies ask for education certificates to be attested, and some need an apostille. The steps depend on the destination country, so ask the receiving body what it accepts before you begin.
