For Indians in United States

NRI services for Indians in United States

If you live in the United States, you probably need paperwork from India at some point. It could be for a USCIS green card or citizenship file, a WES or ECE evaluation, an OCI application or a family sponsorship case. We4NRI is a Chennai based service. We collect the Indian side of your file in person, in the right offices, and send it to you with tracking. You do not need to fly to India. We are not a government agency. The office that receives your file makes the final call.

How We4NRI helps in United States

Files for USCIS and attorneys

Birth, marriage and single status records prepared with a green card or naturalisation file in mind. Certified English translations are arranged when the original is in Tamil, Hindi or another Indian language.

Education records for WES and ECE

We request transcripts and degree copies from Indian universities and help with sealed envelopes. WES, ECE and similar evaluators set their own rules, so we work from the checklist you give us.

OCI and passport side of the work

We help you prepare OCI applications and documents for VFS or BLS processing, and we check names, dates and photos before you submit.

Apostille for use in the USA

The United States is a Hague Apostille Convention country, so many Indian documents go through MEA apostille. We confirm with you whether your receiving office wants the original or a copy.

One coordinator, tracked courier

One person follows every office in India and messages you at each step. Finished sets ship to your home or your attorney with a tracking number.

Practical tips

Before you start

  • Keep the exact USCIS notice, RFE or evaluator checklist that asked for the document, and share it with us. Wording matters.
  • Ask your attorney whether a translation needs a certification statement from the translator, and tell us before we start.
  • If a university must send transcripts directly to WES or ECE, give us the reference number and the correct mailing instructions.
  • Make sure your name is spelled the same on your passport, degree and application. Fix mismatches in India before you file.
  • Allow extra time around Indian public holidays, when government offices and universities close.
